How we use your personal data

We collect and process your personal data only for the following legitimate purposes:

  • Evaluation of your skills and capacities to reassure that you meet the basic requirements for the position you are applying to.
  • Contact with you regarding the recruitment exercise.
  • Management of Human Resources in respect to the assignment of duties, the setting out of salaries and annual leaves etc.
  • Compliance with the legislation.

In order to accomplish the above mentioned, we maintain for 24 months an archive of the candidates who are likely to gain the position and those who are rejected.

What kind of data is collected

  • Data contained in your curriculum vitae (CV) and the covering letter.
  • Any personal data provided to us with your consent either personal such as your contact information, your home address, a copy of our ID, or professional such as information about your previous experience and your abilities and in any case the data whose compilation is indispensable for the accomplishment of the aforementioned purposes.

Special categories of personal data: This kind of personal data, in particular, racial, genetic and biometric data are collected only with your consent or in compliance with the applicable law (e.g. in order to comply with the labor and social insurance law).

Data security

We strictly abide by the rules of protection and confidentiality of your personal data. The access in your personal data is solely permitted to the Heads of our Human Resources Department and the Management Board and to our partners who will supervise or collaborate with the candidates potentially in the future. We maintain all the tangible and intangible means in order to ensure the protection of your data against any unauthorized access or disclosure of them by retaining both soft and hard copies of them only within the company and its servers.

Your rights in relation with personal data

Under some prerequisites you have by law the following rights:

  • Access to your personal data and the possibility of receiving a copy of your personal data in order to verify its lawful processing (in case of repeated requests you might be charged with the costs required).
  • Correction of your personal data in case they are inaccurate.
  • Erasure of your personal data if you consider that there is no longer a legitimate reason for its processing, or you have already objected to the processing of your personal data.
  • Objecting to the processing of your personal data, should you consider it as illegal.
  • Portability of your data to another controller.

In addition, you always have the right to withdraw your consent as far as the processing of your data is concerned, however, the legitimacy of any prior processing shall not be biased. In case of withdrawing your consent any further processing of your personal data will be founded on another legal basis.

Furthermore, should you consider the processing of your personal data as illegal, you always possess the right of complaint at the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
